Loving your inner American

Welcome to The Americanologist, where we celebrate the unique American experience through observation and commentary on the cultural, political, and historical narratives of the nation. E Pluribus Unum.- Out of Many, One. Who are we? What do we believe, value, love?

There are many viewpoints on what it means to be an American, based upon our different perspectives and experiences. The origin story of America is in its constitutional documents, fortified by memories, myths, and heroes. The version you love may be different from the one your neighbors or other Americans recognize, but it is still American, and each version can be celebrated in acknowledgement of the unique nature of a constitutional republic, the first in human history. Take a look through the content pages and linked blogs, I hope you will find something to recognize and apply to your vision of America in the historical, cultural, and political content offered here.
